About Us

    Future Systems (Sussex) is a Microsoft Registered Partner organisation comprising a small and dedicated team of Microsoft-trained IT professionals with experience in implementing, optimising and supporting Windows 95/98/2000/XP desktops, Windows NT/2000/2003 servers, SQL Server, Exchange Server and wired and wireless networking.

    Our registered address for post and deliveries is Future Systems (Sussex), 44 Dovedale Crescent, Crawley, West Sussex, RH11 8SG. Please note that customers are not able to collect goods from this address.

We have achieved "SuperSeller", "PowerSeller" and "Admin" statuses on various Internet auction sites and, thanks to good prices, excellent service and fast delivery times, are proud to have received 100% positive feedback ratings over hundreds of transactions.

    Warranty and Returns Policy

    All new items carry a 12-month return to base warranty and all used items carry a 3-month return to base warranty. Some clearance items may carry less warranty but will be clearly marked as such if this is the case.

    Software products are warranted by the manufacturer and not by Future Systems (Sussex). Unless we have given you incorrect advice about suitability, software products may not be returned if the software seals have been broken.

    In keeping with the Distance Selling Act and Sale Of Goods Act, we are happy to accept returns of products providing that the item and any packaging is in the same condition in which you received it so that the item may be resold. In order to stay competitive, we generally do not hold large stocks of items and many products are sourced from our wholesalers / suppliers to meet order requirements. Therefore, we will levy a 50% returns charge to cover the inconvenience of accepting returned items and reselling them. Refunds will only be given on the product sale price and will not include delivery charges. Returns must be sent to us at your own cost and risk and must be received by us within 7 days of the date that you received the product. If you receive an item that is faulty, not as described or not fit for purpose, it will be exchanged or fully credited (including delivery charges paid to us) after testing to confirm the fault. If no fault is found, you may incur an additional delivery charge to have the item returned to you. Please contact us for support and a returns authorisation before returning products.

    Delivery

    Items that are currently in stock will usually be despatched within 24 hours of receiving cleared payment. Please bear in mind that some payment methods take several days to clear (see below). If, at the time of placing your order, an item is not in stock and is to be fulfilled from a supplier's stock, this will also usually be despatched within 24 hours of receiving cleared payment. Any anticipated delay will be communicated to you at the time of your order before your payment is taken.

    New Dell laptops, desktop PCs, servers and other items ordered direct from the manufacturer will typically be built to order and will incur longer delivery times. Dell advise delivery times of up to 28 days, though orders are normally received within 7-14 days.

    Delivery charges vary depending on the size and weight of your total order and how quickly you would like to receive it. We despatch non-urgent orders by Royal Mail Second Class or First Class post (£2.95 + VAT up to 1Kg) and valuable or urgent orders using City Link overnight couriers or Royal Mail Special Delivery (typically £6.95 + VAT for small items and £9.95 to £14.95 + VAT for heavy items). Where an item is to be despatched to you direct from one of our trade suppliers, they may use alternative carriers. In any case, delivery will not take more than 72 hours from the time of despatch. Please bear in mind that orders placed earlier in the day are more likely to be despatched the same day than orders placed late in the day.

    Courier deliveries will always be fully insured and will require a signature upon delivery. The delivery address does not need to be the same address to which your payment method is registered. Therefore, if it would be more convenient to have your order shipped to a friend or relative or to your place of work, please let us know and we will be happy to arrange this for you.

    For our customers' convenience, we offer a number of payment methods:

    • Many customers prefer to use direct bank transfers (BACS) to make payments directly into our bank account through online banking, telephone banking or by visiting your local bank branch. Please contact us for the details of our account. BACS payments typically take 2 working days to clear.

    • UK cheque made payable to Future Systems (Sussex) and sent to the registered address listed above. Cheques take 7 working days to clear.

    • UK uncrossed postal orders made payable to Future Systems (Sussex) and sent to the registered address listed above. UK uncrossed postal orders will be cleared instantly.

    When paying by post or Internet, please remember to tell us who you are and what you are paying for.

    Privacy policy

    Future Systems (Sussex) will only hold data concerning or belonging to its customers that is consistent with its provisions of sales of goods and services to those customers and/or support to those customers. Future Systems (Sussex) will securely destroy any such data concerning or belonging to its customers once it is no longer required directly in relation to the aforementioned provisions, notwithstanding any legal requirement to maintain such data for the purposes of financial auditing. Furthermore, Future Systems (Sussex) will not maintain in any single place complete details regarding credit/debit card transactions with any customers.
